Members Hard Truth
Does anyone besides me enjoy some good surround sound music? What are your favorite surround sound releases? DVD audio titles as well as DVD videos with strong music content qualify. For my choices I did not include some titles with good music and videography that only used the surround speakers for crowd noise and reverb. Members Hard Truth
Wow, it looks like only two of us actually listen to music in surround. Could this be true? No wonder SACD and DVD-audio never took off commercially.
Members KB Gunn
Yes, it never took off because of the dumbing down of America. The masses have no taste, but they have a form of mob rule consumerism. They prefer iPod to audiophile. Sometimes I wonder why we struggle so hard for high fidelity results in our recordings when it will only end up as an mp3. When I'm down and troubled, I put on one of many DVD A's in my collection and I am immediately restored to normal psyche.
