Members DylanWilde
I am looking to get some new headphones after my old pair of Sony MDR-V150's broke, and I was wondering what a good pair for under $50 would be. . .I am a poor college student, so I hope the price doesn't seem too limiting - I would be willing to work outside of it for a very remarkable increase in quality. I chose the Sony's for basic listening, but recently have started working on mixing tracks from my computer for my band's recordings so that is now an important consideration. So accuracy, wide frequency range, and tonal balance are the most important factors. Any recommendations? Any input would be awesome, Thanks. Members Lucky #9
I often use a Behringer (yes, you heard that right) HPS3000 headphones that I picked up new on ebay for $30. Primarily, I use them when I play guitar through sound processors at night to practice. They seem to be a pretty decent pair of cans, very cheap. For more crucial listening, recording, etc., I use a pair of Sennheiser HD280 Pros. However, I find the cheap Behringers much more comfortable to wear than the $90-100 HD280s. Members TimmyP
You might get a set of the cheapest Grado phones for that.
