Members LiveMusic
I'm up at this lake at dusk and two bats come out, flitting around. Surviving, catching bugs. I'm watching these guys and it strikes me... how the hell can an echo signal reflect off of a mosquito? I'm serious... that is mind-boggling. These bats are dipping and diving, nailing these tiny bugs. Hard to conceive. I could understand... MAYBE a dragonfly but a mosquito? No way. Nature baffles me. The bullfrog was cool. (Doing his badass bullfrog call.) I spent countless hours at this lake as a teen-ager, fishing.

Members axe2 2001
I own a mini-farm and we've got bats in the barn. Every night just before the sun goes all the way down, they come out and we watch. Bats are cool. Speaking of Mosquitoes, anyone notice they seem bigger this year? Get em batty!! Members chipmcdonald
... I'm sure bats only need a 44.1/24bit bandwidth to do their thing... Maybe they're tuned to specific resonances of certain bugs; the return from fluttering wings might be more easily interpolated as well.
