Members Han
A couple of years back I've sent Chip a VHS of a Kate Bush special which appeared on German TV in the early eighties. Chip couldn't play this video because of the different standards in Europe. I found out that whole special is on youtube and maybe you've been seeing it already, but if not, here it is: Kate Bush in Concert: Deel 1: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=pSmWt19TycY Deel 2: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=ddXUBOa4VjY Deel 3: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=M-iK-eW64P8 Deel 4: http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=PMgm3vkP6oc Enjoy this remarkable woman. Members rasputin1963
I used to really be into Kate Bush right up until her Australian Dreamtime mishugass. I think she kinda lost the plot around then... hr 1970's stuff is much better, IMHO.
Members Super 8
I've got this or something from the same tour on VHS. Amazing how someone that talented, that intelligent, can be that drop-dead sexy too.

Members deanmass
Amazing...thank you! I think Kate peaked with the Sensual World, but Aerials was very very good, it was more lack of timing than anything...too long between releases...She sure is adorable in these videos...! Members Han
It seems that Chip is no longer on the memberlist, anyway, I am a big fan of Kate Bush, I do have demo's of her where she's very young, about 11 or 12, putting a radio casette recorder on a stool next to the piano and what you hear is a child who plays and sings mature songs. Extraordinairy great talent and beautiful woman.

Members Han
Well, IMHO it's strange that there's so little on DVD from Katie, certainly in Europe. There must be a big market, I would have bought it all, everything.

I seem to remember the audience was gobsmacked.... they didn't know quite what to make of her. SNL did ballsy, fashion-forward things like that back in those days... (Like when they debuted Monty Python and Elvis Costello).
Members Han
I wonder, the links I've posted are from a special which appeared on German TV in 1980. There's also a Dutch version with subtitles which I have recorded in 1980 or 1981 on VHS, but in mono. This concert must have been recorded and broadcasted in stereo though, so why isn't there a DVD of it? There are a whole lot of Kate Bush fans who would very much like to own this special in DVD quality, so why can't I find it? Hey, EMI dudes, are you guys sleeping or what? There must be a huge market for Kate on DVD worldwide, are you guys nuts?
