I wonder. (Top Chef.)

My family watches Top Chef. It is well produced and makes for a fun hour of TV if you're interested in food. More Anthony Bourdain, please! The overwhelming number of product placements are completely annoying but are common on many reality shows. Every year, there are only a few participants who show any great skill in the kitchen. The rest seem to come "straight out of central casting"

I recenty took my oldest daughter (who loves the show) to dinner at Perilla, the NYC restaurant opened by Top Chef winner Harold Deterle. It was a good meal and the restaurant has been an initial success. I hope it continues for him after the curiousity subsides.
