Members thepalpitations
Hello all. I've been using HC reviews for some time but this is my first visit to the forums. I'm a lead singer/rhythm guitarist in a five-piece rock & roll band. I'm looking for an multieffect processor to add some color to my vocals. I don't need to harmonize with myself and I don't need any space-alien effects, just the basics: reverb, chorus, compression, warmth, etc. I've heard about the Digitech Vocal 300 and the similar Peavey model but the reviews are less than inspiring. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with a simple, affordable (sub-$400) vocal processor that can just handle the basics. Thanks for your time. Members ggm1960
I'm using a Lexicon MX200, does a great job and can be easily edited with a computer and/or used as a VST plugin.
Members Anderton
TC-Helicon has a new line of pedals designed specifically for vocalists. I haven't had a chance to check them out, but the demos at Summer NAMM were convincing -- check them out in the Theater section, under trade show reports. Of course the DigiTech VL2 and VL4 are pretty amazing -- check out the threads on them in the Pro Reviews forum.
Members philbo
From the topic I was going to suggest Mutt Lange, but I see now that you're looking for hardware....
