Little is known about the proposed opera, other than, similar to his MAIDEN OF THE FARWEST, it was to be set in futuristic Oakland, California, and the title of the lead tenor's most notable aria was to be called "Gradisco i natichi grandi, io non posso trovarsi." which, translated, means "I like big buttocks, I cannot lie." The surviving lyrics, transcribed from now-crumbling paper scrawled in Puccini's flowery hand, are presented below: L'OH, mio, dio.
