Members Jeff Leites
I just returned from a one week vacation with my traveler guitar. I lost one pick before I got to the airport, and another two days before coming home. Do they end up with lost socks?
Members cbentley
They wind up here. I play keys but somehow manage to keep finding picks in the house... must be a wormhole or something. I always thought lost socks mutated into coat hangers....
Members Raymar
I find 'em now and then on the street, on the beach in the sand. I remember years ago when I lived at home I'd put them on my amp in my bedroom and my brother would come in and put them in his pocket and then leave them at his friend's houses. Since moving out I haven't had that problem in years. I'm the kinda guy that never loses or breaks picks but I've seen other players go throught them like water the way some drummers go through a forest of sticks. What's up with that? Members Jesse G
Someone in GJ said that they've been playing with the same pick for 20 years or something. Anyway... Those picks they give away at Sam Ash are amazing. They are thinner but stiffer, so I get the sound I like from a thinner pick but its stiffer like a thicker one. And it has the grippy sortof surface. yeah....

Members Beck
I've been using the same 20 or so Dunlop picks of various gauges for about 25 years... I keep losing and finding the same ones. So I developed this theory of a pick cycle, sort of like the water cycle. The cycle starts when we buy the picks and then they evaporate into the atmosphere, a few at a time. Then they reconstitute and rain back down in different places

Members D Charles
I did some remodeling a few years ago where you're moving entire rooms full of stuff so you can do floors, walls ceilings etc. I'll bet I found 100 picks or more. They were everywhere, in drawers, couches, under furniture, in books...
Members kurfu
Mine wear out... the pointy side gets too rounded for a decent attack. ...and my cat steals them.
Members pk1fan
The repairman has found mine in the washing machine pump $45.00 dollar pick .
Members thefunkman
When you find that pick, I want my lighter back...and that razor blade from the 80's (coke,) / razor blade from the 70's (Agfa tape editing.) That kind of stuff all ends up in the same place.
Members veracohr
must be a wormhole or something. That's my theory. I was driving once when a pick materialized out of thin air right about knee level on the passenger side, then fell to the floor. I was kind of freaked out. Members Instrospection
I dunno where picks go. It's crazy. They probably all go to pick hell, from too much abuse!

Members Ernest Buckley
I know mine go to pick heaven where a real guitar player uses them. I`d like to think Hendrix plays with them. I used to save my guitar strings, I would treat them very special if I wrote a couple of good songs with them!
