Wha'd'ya'think it sounds like? It sounds like a Lexicon. Personally, a 960 is more reverb than I could ever conceive of using, and it has a set of controls that feel like you can actually drive it, so in that respect, given my choice, I'd probably take the 960. But for someone accustomed to fine tweaking and computer-like user interfaces, and who always wants more just because it's poss8ible, the PCM96 probably offers more.
