Members Rexx Shredd
my band Gothik Toyz is in the final stages of completing our video (song is already complete) cover of Electric Light Orchestra's "10538 Overture". No rights were secured but we arent planning to sell any either...its a total non-for-profit venture - just a way of acknowledging a big musical influence. However, we would like to display it on MySpace or our website Is this OK to do?
Members philbo
Not unless you get the rights from the people who own ELO's music. They can sue you if you don't. Probably won't, but who knows?
Members tradivoro1
This might be your cheapest and easiest option to cover yourself legally. This seems to be the easiest way to get a license for other people's material. anyway, check it out and see if it's for you. http://limelight.rightsflow.com/
