Members Mats Nermark
Hi, Just installed NI Komplete 8 on my Win XP machine. The program info says I need 2GB of RAM to run it. When I load some instruments I see they are 2.5 GB in size. How is this possible? Does part of instrument load in some kind of buffer memory on my hard drive? Cheers, Mats N
Members EFG#ABCD
VSTi Samplers like kontakt halion etc etc will usually only load a minute section of each sample to RAM, and rip the rest off of the HD as needed ..... so this could well explain why you can load a 2.5gb patch with only 2gb on your rig.
