Members Mark L
Bought a Yamaha MOX6 a while back and finally got around to writing a song with it. The arpeggiator function is great. I never knew such things existed! This opens up a whole new world of sonic possibilities....
Members Anderton
If you use arpeggiators, I'm sorry but I'll have to perma-ban you. Kidding! They can really do some fun things. I did a video about using Sonar's arpeggiator, with its real-time controls, to trigger percussion parts. Something else for you to check out. If using arpeggiators is wrong, I don't wanna be right
Members A. Einstein
Yesterday, for the first time, I used an arpeggiator for recording that could mark the end of your career
Members philbo
I really like the stuff Who and Alan Parsons did with them.
Members A. Einstein
I am a huge fan of what Beethoven did with Hollerith's mechanical tabulating machines, and even more of a fan what The Beatles did with with IBM punched card in their bookkeeping songs. No kidding.
Members electrochrisso
The arpeggiator on the Casio ctk7000 is great too, and some VSTi have that feature too.
Members Raymar
You don't have to just hold down a chord or note either, you can also play notes as they "go off" on their own. One thing I used to like to do was put on a piano or harp sound with lots of delay and roll my arm across the keys in sort of a slow judo chop up and down the keyboard. Lots of spacey fun there. Or have a patch where just one sound in a layered sound is under arpeggiator control.
