Members techristian
No honestly. Tell me again why you must pay $700 to $800 for a windows tablet+keyboard with only 32-64 gigs of SDcard space, when you can get a REAL laptop with up to 1 TB of HD space and a faster processor for the same price or less. If it is for the TOUCH screen, there are already inexpensive laptops with touch screens. "Oh it is smaller" you say. I have seen many new laptops with way more horsepower and very sleek for the same price. So is it just me, or has the populous been hypnotized? Members Rabid
Maybe they are trying to compete with Apple. I have the $500 Surface which suites my needs very well. Small and runs MS Office Pro. But for the Intel version I did go with another brand.
Members jonnyj
Yes, we're all hypnotized by the continued homogenization and shrinking of actual size of products and value for your money World. I would like to get a Surface Pro only to run my Windows version music software . Not interested in helping Microsoft compete with the App Store. There's plenty of laptops and now Win Tablets that will smoke the Surface line. Ms again too little too late too much.
Members techristian
Just today I got an email from the FUTURESHOP here in Canada. $469 for an Acer Aspire V5-431P 14" TouchscreenIt may not have the fastest processor in the world (hard core gamers complaining about speed) , but with 4 gb of ram and 500gb hard drive I would rather have this than a surface.
