Yeah, Ram, the first one is great, really good.

I like the second one after about 1:50.

Here's something of mine from 1990. I would change the lyric and some of my vocal performance, but there are some nice elements, especially the bass (by Buddy Booker) and the alto sax.

"Are You the One?"

1.

I’ve been alone for much too long.

I’ve missed the moan and clutch too long.

I haven’t known a woman’s touch too long.

And half of two is not much fun.

2.

I need a friend to mend this mood;

and help me end my solitude;

make love and then

send out for Chinese food.

Is it you? Are you the one?

Bridge 1.

I want somebody soft and sympathetic

to soothe the savage beast with all her charms;

somebody who’d be just enough athletic

to want to run into my arms.

3.

I want to be with someone smart,

sing harmony not hum one part.

Can such as we become one heart?

Is it true—are you the one?

Finally upgraded from an 07 iMac to a newer computer and can access the songs people post links to. Good stuff. Great jams by rsadasiv, LCK's Are You The One is a classic sound and 'Scaper's Too Many Voices is a very interesting sound and lyric, which is playing as I write this. My own work is all throw-back influenced stuff. Thanks for the showcase links.

This is a simple introspection this 62 year old makes on a fair basis.
