Members PTCruiser1801
Hi everyone! This is my latest song 'Is There Anybody Out There?'. It is sung from three different perspectives. Each double verse is spoken from someone involved in a conflict and I have tried to show the cyclical nature of this conflict throughout the song. I will leave the rest of the interpreting up to you, the listener. https://soundcloud.com/ptcruiser1801...body-out-there Here are the lyrics: Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? His heart is full of sorrowHis eyes are white with fearHis fists they fill with angerHe hears them they are near He thinks back to the last timeThey tore right through his homeThose monsters are the reasonThat he lives there all alone Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? No independent thinkingHe follows where they goTold he's proud to fight the rebelsThat they plan to overthrow He's following their ordersHe's marching to their drumHe shoots the man before himScared of what he's become Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? She's searching for her fatherThe enemy's been hereShe's worried for him this timeAs she fights back the tears She vows to fight his battleShe's hungry for revengeShe's nothing left to lose nowShe'll fight them till the end Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? Hello? Is there,Anybody out there? Now we know,That there's,Nobody out there...
Members Delmont
Ambitious theme! One small language point: Since rebels, by definition, aren't the ones in power, they can't be overthrown. They're doing the overthrowing. They can be fought, repelled, defeated, vanquished, liquidated, crushed, repulsed, co-opted, placated, or disarmed, but they can't be overthrown. Members LCK
Nice. It's a bit old-fashioned, but look who's talking!
