If That's What You Are I've... come to terms with itI've... learned to live with itI can't see anything to forgiveIf that's who you truly areI'll take the near with the farThe bad with the goodThe porcelain skin with the scarIf that's what you are I... can't pretend I'm betterI'm... the same, no betterI won't play perfect anymoreCause nothing's is still or staticLaying like dust in the atticNobody's who they seem to beYour moment is hanging in the starsAnd that's what you are Hold out for perfectionTill finally they comeThey'll be waiting for rejectionTill they run... I've... come to terms with itI've... learned to love itA flaw is beauty in the rawIf that's who you truly areI'll take the near with the farThe bad with the goodFrom up the hill down to gravel and tarIf that's what you areIf that's what you are

Members oldgitplayer
Very nice. The lyric has evolved well, and the melody has a good feel to it. And to all new readers - we allow Lee to show off his fretboard dexterity without ragging him about it…..

But what the f*ck are this black and white things or those knobby buttons down by my feet? I love this and hope the final doesn't do much more than add bass, light percussion and an atmospheric ornament or two. No more is needed.

Members nat whilk II
Oh yeah, like LCK said, wonderfully personal and direct. The pauses are super... Members DonnaMarilyn
Yes, it's all about the simplicity. Less is more. Pretty melody, and appealing delivery. Donna

Members LCK
This is one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite songwriters. It has a toy piano solo. "How Can I Make You Love Me," words & music by Joey Spampinato.
