The acoustic, bass and vocals are his and the piano, electrics and rearrangement are mine as is mixing/mastering. His demo: Collab mix. What a great tune. I used some recordings from when I was 17. That's me that says the *first" "I'd like to see more youth of america.. as well as counting off 1234 at the end of the song.Incidentally, the drummer Jimmy I reference in the song, I will be vsiiting with him for the first time in 30 years in a couple of weeks.2. Everything About Her Drives Me Wild - or, as I affectionately call it, "the sex song". The moaning near the end was extracted from a porn vid on line, then I used melodyne to make it pitch friendly to the song. I bet the melodyne people never thought about that!3. Insane. I did incorporate a number of changes to this song from the comments on this board. I was bullied as a boy, but also, I have known women who were abused as kids. I was angry at the bast%$%$s who did this when I wrote this.4. Happy Birthday, Goodbye. This was based on a song about my late wife I wrote 30 years ago called "Happy Birthday". It is a song of letting go, but also a song of celebration. It brings smiles to me. By the way, it placed 3rd in the monthly MUSE competition.5. You and Me - I wrote this at 6 am and then played it to my fiancee and proposed marriage at 7 pm. It worked... gotta love music.6. Hope in this Hopeless Night - 1st collaboration with my partner Jeanne.7. I'm a Lova and a Kissa - some very good Harmony comments - but I lost interest in the song It is, by the way, pretty much a true to life song.8. You and I - written this month for a one instrument one vocal competition - it was a single take, warts and all.9. She's the Kind of Woman - someone on another board thought the vocals shoudl sound more gritty. So I listened to some BBking videos and tried to imitate him. You be the judge.10.
