Members LCK
Marvelous. I question "the daily quotidian" as being so clearly redundant, yet I like the rhythm of it.
Members nat whilk II
I bet only 10% of the population knows what "quotidian" means, so the redundancy is sort of like a sign that messages in two languages. And any song that can rhyme "quotidian" and "obsidian" has paid it's way as far as I'm concerned nat whilk ii
Members rsadasiv
Yeah, it's more about juxtaposing the tone than it is about anything in particular. How's the new house/new addition coming along? Painting the bedroom pink or blue? Do all that stuff now, because you wind up living with it for far longer than you might think. Members Chicken Monkey
It's a boy, but we're not painting anything. We maintain a couple of rental properties, and do a lot of the work ourselves, so we're not painting a thing unless it's covered with crayon or cat spray. My music stuff has been inhabiting the second bedroom since we moved in, and the band is set up recording our second album in there, so when that's done, I'll pack away all my gear and move in the crib and such.
