  • "Where's Bill Evans When You Need Him?" -- germofsomething

I found this in my file of unfinished tunes.

What think ye? Worthy of pursuing?

    Where

“Good Vibrations” was probably a good record but who's to know? You had to play it about 90 bloody times to even hear what they were singing about. What’s next? Rock opera? —Pete Townshend, Melody Maker Interview, 1966.

Love it. Do it as a spoken word mashup over an existing Evans recording.

I think this is a great idea as a production approach. Maybe even sing a few lines here and there where you can create an emphasis.

    I like this, too.

Would be amusing to put a piano part to it that is Bill Evans style imitated very poorly.   And stutter on a few syllables while your fingers search for the right notes...:smiley-bounce022:

at least I think that would be amusing...
