Formanta Polivoks soviet synthesizer with MIDI mod

Here for sale i have the legendary Formanta Polivoks soviet synthesizer, manufacturing date 1982.

This one has been fully maintained/calibrated to a guaranteed working condition + a MIDI mod has been added with additional features which makes it almost one of a kind!

You can see the additional MIDI mod controls placed on the right side.

Originally it came without the top plate where the "Поливокс" sign was, i had printed it separately to bring it back to its original factory looks!

 

The original black case + spare knobs are included!

 

MIDI mod includes such features as:

- MIDI learn

- MONO mode: In this mode, both generators of the Polivoks work in unison and at the same time will only sound when one note is pressed. With a constant hold down, one of the notes can play other notes above or by a note below, while in between the playable notes, the retained note will be played.

- 2 Voice mode: This mode allows for separate control of the Polivoks generators and includes the following sub-modes:

Sub-mode 1: This mode allows to play oscillator 1 with the left hand and oscillator 2 with the right hand.

Sub-mode 2: Allows you to control oscillators independently with MIDI

Sub-mode 3: A mode to implement the original 2 oscillators mode of the Polivoks

- SPLIT mode: In this mode, you can split the keyboard into two parts, for independent playing with both right and left hand

- LFO sync mode: This mode enables the Polivoks LFO rate to be in sync with the DAW tempo.
