Greetings,

I am the original owner of this Stingray and have had it since 2001 when it was made.

The bass features:

'Natural Velvet' (no gloss) finish, which was only available for a very short time and is extremely rare according to an Ernie Ball customer service representative (www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-basses/3240-natural-velvet-finish.html). I couldn't find much info on it other than the previous link.

-3-band active EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble)

-9v battery

-Bolt-on birdseye maple neck (6 bolts)

-Rosewood fingerboard

-MM Humbucker pickup

-21 frets

-34" scale

I used this bass live and in the studio for about 6 years, and it was very well taken care of, but it naturally has some tiny dings and scratches that are barely noticeable. The Natural Velvet finish hides them almost completely and it's in amazing condition. I guarantee you won't be disappointed! Comes with fitted hardshell case which has served it's purpose well. Case has one broken latch, but still closes, locks, and does it's job. The price is $850, plus shipping. Hope this bass ends up with someone who will appreciate it as much as I have.
