Members themeanreds Posted January 27, 2008 Members Share Posted January 27, 2008 G&L LB-100 (black w/ white pickguard and maple/rosewood neck, w/ original hardcase) Serial #: B025075; I believe this dates the bass to about 1993. Neck width at the nut is 1.75". The G&L is in excellent condition, sounds and plays great. There are a few nasty dings (pictured below), and my tech heat-treated the neck to relieve a slight bow. Before heat-treating the neck, he was able to get the neck straight with some careful adjusting of the truss rod. He recommended the heat-treatment so as to avoid the problem in the future, and because a truss rod should be able to comfortably adjust in both directions.
