Members chimi Posted August 24, 2014 Members Share Posted August 24, 2014 Lately i've been really gassing for a 'super strat' type guitar. Now by that i don't mean something super pointy like a Jackson. I mean something strat-ish looking that has a hh or s-h combo. To give you guys an example i LOVE my Antares strat with blade pickups. I've been keeping my eyes open for another one with no luck. I briefly had an Ibanez Roadstar which i had to get rid of as it was a project guitar (and i had no time for a project) and it looked almost identical to the antares including the headstock. (which actually makes me wonder if they come from the same factory). Anyways, i know of ibanez roadstars and blazers and have been drooling over the Fender FSR hot rod strat but it's a bit out of my budget right now. I know Yamaha makes the Pacifica and SE line though i'm not a HUGE fan of the shape (seems like a stretched out strat). Peavey makes the T series guitars and the Patriot.
