  • 1972 Gibson SG-1 for sale

Great sounding guitar! Is all original but missing the pickguard.
It still has the original Kluson Deluxe tuners and mini-humbucker.
It gets a great Neil Young/Pete Townshend sound. This things just a total rocker. Solid mohogany with glued in neck also this is one of the few models with no routing on the back so it resonates like crazy. The paints faded to an almost walnut color and there's a few knicks here and there but that's to be expected with a guitar this old. The only thing it could use is a pro setup. I'll try and get some pictures up soon. I'm wanting about $600.00 for it but hell make me an offer anyway.

Hopefully I'll have some within the next week. Sorry for the inconvenience. All I can do right now is send you some sample pictures of the same model/year.

That's certainly not going to do it.

Does this come with a case?
What color was this guitar originally?

As far as I know they only came in a natural (walnut?) finish...
            VERY INTERESTED and awaiting pics.
