Members PurpleTeabag
Yeah, don't. +1 For one they're complete crap and secondly no need in supporting chinese counterfeiting. If I were you I'd look into Japanese copies such as Burny, Greco, Edwards, Tokai, Bacchus, Aria, etc...
Members dogbone94
Tokai or Edwards make the best lp... tokia makes a nicer standard..... or find an older mij epiphone with the gibson head shpe...
Members rocktuna
I bought one a few years ago. With some work (set up, fret crown and level, fret ends needed doing) it didn't play that bad, probably as good as a low end Epiphone. But it just bothered me that to get it even decent it would need new tuners and pups and electronics and hardware.I figured that by the time I got it up to playable I'd have close to a grand in it and lately for a couple hundred more I can buy a real Gibson.Anyhow sold it to a buddy who sold it to a buddy then I lost track of it.All in all it's a bad decision to buy one.If your looking for an inexpensive yet good guitar look at Agile's. Members Bluplirst
Can any one advise me on buying a Gibson les Paul copy? Sure, drive to china, but make sure to bring some lube and something to bite down on. Best of luck!
Members thirsty one
The medium priced Edwards/Tokai have a great reputation. I have an Agile AS1000 (335 copy). It is totally stock and I love it. I got a comment on my tone this weekend. Agile makes great stuff.
