Members Barryj61
Ah - my shredder son has gone indie on me................... He's putting his Schecter Synyster Gates Special up for sale - to fund some Danelectros and such..... Schecter makes about 6 different versions of this guitar - this is one of the higher-end models, with an ebony fretboard, Seymour Duncan pickups, and an actual Floyd Rose. This thing is rock solid, and I'm utterly stunned by how well it plays (and this is coming from someone who owns multiple Paul Reed Smiths) The neck is surprisingly beefy for a 'shred' guitar - about the same size as on my McCarty (PRS Wide-Fat). No play or slop whatsoever in the trem - set up with 3 springs and is very stable. Pickups are hot, as expected - but because of that they coil-tap very nicely for cleaner tones Full specs below: Construction: Set Neck w/ Ultra Access Body: - Mahogany Neck: 3-pc Mahogany Finger Board: Ebony Frets: 24X Jumbo Inlay: MOP Gothic Cross Bindings: White Tuners: Schecter Pickups: Seymour Duncan Invaders SH-8 Electronics: Vol/Tone (tap)/3-way switch Available Bridges: - Floyd Rose 1000 Series Scale: 25.5" Hardware: Black Chrome Looking for $600 shipped/Paypalled Picture gallery here (may borrow a better camera later this week - excuse the Iphone pics.....) https://plus.google.com/photos/10066...82551821467521
