2012 Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar. Made in USA (Except the stock pickups of course, which are Bare Knuckle Jaguar pickups made in England).
No repairs, mods or screwy stuff... Bone stock. These all had somewhat odd finish issues where random nicks in the finish might appear or certain spots on just the top layer of the nitro finish took longer to cure and rubbed off easily. These anomalies eventually stopped as the finishes cured, but this one did experience some of that. If you look closely in the photos below you can see that the area around the top horn strap button has the top layer rubbed off, plus a couple of flakes. On the back by the neckplate there was a flake that came off (NOT due to overtightening). That was the first flaw it ever got so I drop filled it... After that I said heck with it and just let it age how it wants to.
Anyhow, there are a few spots here and there on the body, all of which are photographed below. No dings or dents to the wood. If you understand this is a used guitar and a white nitro finish and you will be pleased with it. If you want showroom new, go look at a brand new one. Even in your hands you have to turn the guitar over and start looking before anything really jumps out at you. White finishes are great like that as they hide imperfections. I'm probably making it sound worse than it is... The pics below tell the story. I just want there to be no surprises. It's a used guitar, not dead mint.
With that out of the way, the guitar is set up and plays killer. No neck issues or dead/fretted out notes, no notable fret wear or tuning issues. Zero playability issues. Overall a rock solid used guitar in great condition.
Includes original hard shell case and tremolo bar, owners manual and case keys as shown below.
The video below is 15 minutes of Johnny Marr describing all of the different mods to this model of Jaguar over an old-school stock Jaguar. Very cool, and definitely worth a watch even if you aren't looking to buy a guitar.
$1375 OBO shipped via USPS Priority Air (about 2 - 3 days anywhere in the US). US48 shipping only. Paypal only.
As far as trades, I am into Jazzmasters and Jaguars, professional series Gretsch models, Les Paul models, Bigsby equipped guitars and maybe even certain Rickenbacker models. Basically the classic stuff... No shredders or metal guitars. I open to hear anything and the worst I'll do is politely say "No thank you".
I have traded and sold everything from pedals to high end and vintage guitars on here and other guitar forums with no problems. Easily over 100+ transactions over the years.
Thanks for looking!
