Members guitarsolo_bob
I am fingerstyle guitarist "Robert W Dillon, Ph.D." and I am selling my beautiful custom-built Traugott model R, acoustic-electric (steel-string) cutaway guitar with Brazilian Rosewood (back and sides - this wood is now 125 years old and in mint condition), German Spruce top, and Mahogany neck. The guitar was custom-built in July 2000. Its appraisal value as of July 21, 2011 is $27,500. I have the paperwork regarding its appraisal value and Jeff Traugott can be contacted as well. I am selling this guitar far below its appraisal value for $15,500, which is a discount of $12,000 from its appraisal value. The guitar is in excellent condition. The photos were taken on July 22, 2015. One of my originals "Big Lee (Leo)" was featured in a master workshop in the Fingerstyle Guitar Magazine. The guitar was used to record 3 of 6 CDs containing originals. These can be found atGuitarSolo.com/cds.html The width at the nut of the guitar is 1 15/16", which is slightly wider than a normal acoustic guitar, but not as wide as a classical guitar - perfect for the fingerstyle guitarist. Its ideal for classical guitarists transitioning to acoustic steel-string. If not sold, then it will be on consignment with Jeff Traugott who reaches a wide audience of quality guitarists and he will sell it for over $20K. Hopefully someone would like to own this world-class guitar. I can be reached at guitarsolo_bob@yahoo.com
