Description:

I am offering a pristine Limited Edition Martin D-28GE (Golden Era) Acoustic 6-String Guitar with ridiculously figured Brazilian Rosewood neck, back and sides with Adirondack Spruce top in MINT condition. This limited edition model (mine is #407) is no longer in production and since Brazilian Rosewood is in short supply, the current version of this guitar, the limited edition D-28 Authentic (very small production) is selling for $39,999 on the Martin website.

I am a premium guitar collector with numerous guitars in my collection. I am extremely selective in terms of what is added to my collection and this guitar is one of the best in my collection. In my opinion this guitar provides note clarity throughout the register and an unbelievable power, sustain and overtones that ring and go on for a long time. This guitar was played only a limited number of times and ONLY by my delicate hand and constantly kept in it's case in a humidity controlled environment. Since I am extremely picky in terms of instrument quality and all my instruments have only played by my hand, sales are final.

In my opinion this guitar is "better than new" for several reasons:

* No fear of "shopwear" (guitars labeled as "new" but have had numerous people playing it while hanging in a store) - no one has played this guitar except for me.

* It has had time to mature and for an unbelievable sound to develop that is difficult to get for years out of a brand new acoustic (if it ever develops well at all). This guitar is already in its prime.

* The whole that that it has matured (like many others in my collection) it has had very limited play.

* Kept constantly in a humidity controlled environment and lovingly cared for.

* Premium pickup installed by a master luthier.
