Members Morgray
Peavey XXX 2x12 combo, this amp is the same is the XXX head but with the added 2x12 speakers and reverb. It's in great condition and works fine, still has the original tubes and I don't believe they need to be replaced, it sounds great. The speaker cable cuts out sometimes if you have it positioned awkwardly but it isn't really a problem Looking for any cabs, 2x12 or 4x12, preferably Avatar, Splawn, and ENGL but offer me whatever youve got! Of course I'll pay the difference if its an expensive cab... Of course if you want to buy it im asking 540+shipping http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/2746/img9718kr9.jpghttp://img384.imageshack.us/img384/7186/img9719fy4.jpg

If you run a tube amp without load (aka, speaker cable "cuts out" for more than a second), you risk blowing the output tranny. And with it cutting out as you described, you're working that output section hard. IE, voltage spikes because there is no load. Fix it. It's just a cable. Members hcprimerib
You can call peavey directly to get the part # for that cable. Then call your local Peavey dealer (guitar center, etc) and give them that part #. They can get it for cheaper because they are a dealer.
