Members skaaks
Edit: THE AMP IS SOLD. Thanks for looking! This a VHT Deliverance inspired custom amp that I built that I'm looking to sell. It started out as a Peavey Windsor that I gutted and started building into a Deliverance clone, but I decided to make a few changes along the way: 1) Rebuilt the headshell and tolexed it in wine red 2) Drilled a whole new set of control knob openings on the front and made a new faceplate similar to the Deliverance. 3) Modded the power amp board to match the Deliverance, however I designed it to use 4 x EL-34s rather than KT88s. 4) Added a new power supply board, including a choke. 5) Made an all new preamp board. 6) Added a solid-state FX Loop. The loop has a switch that you can use to switch it on or off. 7) Added a footswitch jack that lets you switch between 'More' and 'Less' mode. This was a really fun project to work on, and I love how well it turned out. I'd love to keep it, but I need to sell it so I can start working on my next project. I owned a D60 a while ago, and this one definitely still has that Deliverance vibe but with a few other features that I always wished that amp had. Asking $500 + shipping. I might be interested in trades for other similar style amps (i.e. JCA 100, 5150, etc) Here are some pics:
Members skaaks
Here's a sound clip of the amp: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=917428&songID=9220111 Sorry for the crappy quality. I pulled the audio from a video made by my digital camera. The clip was made using a PRS Tremonti SE w/ Gibson 490T pickups through a custom 4x12 w/ Celestion Vintage 30s. Members skaaks
Here's another clip of the amp. Please forgive my meager recording skills and sloppy playing. It should at least give you an idea of what the amp sounds like. It was recorded with an SM57 dead center on the cone of a Vintage 30. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=917428&songID=9229551

Members lhrocker
What's the width of the headshell? Is it more Marshall width or Mesa width?
Members skaaks
What's the width of the headshell? Is it more Marshall width or Mesa width? It's more the size of a Marshall. I'd say it's relatively the same width and height, but a bit deeper. The dimensions are 12" x 29" x 11".
