Members 1001gear
Looked through some of the other stuff they and their cohorts do and I thought, wow these French guys do some really innovative rhythms - then I remembered Jean Luc Ponty and Gong from the 70s and I guess it's a long tradition over there. I'd like to hear American college bands take on stuff like this.
Members Dendy Jarrett
No kidding. I can remember my first listen to Jean Luc Ponty in 1981ish. Man, I was blown away. Up until then, I had only played cover bands and country music square dances.
