Members RobWild
...or perhaps I should say, I'm here! I finally made the 8-hour trip down to visit my parents and pick up my shiny new Meridian Birch kit. I immediately took the crappy ZBTs to Guitar Center and swapped them out for a new hi-hat stand. Then I hit up my local mom & pop drum store where I found a ton of used Sabian cymbals for great prices (I tried really hard to keep an open mind and not limit myself to only one brand, but I just love Sabians sooooo much....not sure why the bias). I still had $700 in in-store credit from when I sold my old kit through them, so I went to town and started picking out some sweet new pies. They even had my dream ride (HHX Dry) used! Sooooo stoked right now! Not sure how to post pics so that everyone can see them, so I'll just post the links to the Flickr page. https://www.flickr.com/photos/robwild/14423385528 (overhead shot) (after adding a couple Paragon splashes I found on Craigslist) (My dream ride!!!) Great pics. Thanks, man! There's a few different ones. The pics right below the drum photos (of this mountain: http://bit.ly/1kBhElD ) are from Electric Peak in Yellowstone NP, Wyoming. The ones a few pages later (of THIS mountain: http://bit.ly/1nhbFbu ) are from Teewinot in Grand Teton National Park. Sadly, I don't live by them (I'm from Michigan), but I spent three summers working in Yellowstone....Best three years of my life!
