Members DrummerSloth
I've been taking lessons (just stopped now due to time and financial constraints) for about four months now, and been playing snare drum since 5th grade (I'm 17 now). I'm in a rock band, and I still suck on drums. I've got the NARD Book of Drum Solos, the Gary Chester book (which I {censored}ing hate), and Nicko McBrain's video (which served me little use because I can't understand a word he says) .... what's an inexpensive instructional video? Members psycht
Try "The Encyclopedia of Groove" by Bobby Rock. it comes with a cd to play with. great fundamental builder for rock drumming.
Members Dave Schenck
Rod Morgenstien "Putting it all together" is a good video plus he makes some ridiculous faces while playing, so its entertaining and informative. I also highly reccommend (as always) Dave Weckls "Evolution" series, its three videos and they cover just about every aspect of drumming.
