Members Kingnome
Played 'em for years. Strongest drums I have ever known. Sounds warm but dry. Project like a cannonball ! You said "may be getting". If you do get them, you will not be sorry !!
Members BluesBro
I have a set of Superstars. Natural/clear lacquer finish. 24" kick, 12", 14" rack toms,16" floor tom. I have a Pearl free floating brass snare. 14" x 6.5" I believe all Superstars are birch shells. I like my set. They sound great, nice and deep. I'll never part with them. Good luck

Yes, I currently have some Tama Superstar`s that I use along with my Artstar Cordia kit. The Superstar`s that I have are: 6, 8, 10, 12 inch concert toms, 13 and 14 inch timbales and a 20 and 22 inch gong bass drums, ALL in Super Mahogany. They sound GREAT!
