Well I sized it down My friend tmetaler gave me his old double bass pedal ( he got an IC for his birthday ), and he let me have his old Pearl Its this one I think: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Pearl-P122TW-Double-Pedal?sku=448787 Anyway I set up the double bass pedal so the beaters are pretty close to the head and DAMN this thing is fast and smooth! I'm doing heel toe doubles at stupid speeds ( even if they're inconsistent and only straight for about .3 seconds ). I was going to tune my drums up, but I got lazy and only tuned my floor tom and 12" rack tom. Now I'm playing a 4 peice, minus hihats ( I like ride cymbal better anyway ) Going clockwise its 16" crash, 12" tom, 18" crash/ride ( where a 13" tom would normally go ), 16" floor tom. 4pc setup is odd. I want one more rack tom and maybe an 18" floor tom for those special, "BOOOM" moments Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
