Members boxofrocks
Why does Evans not sell a G2 coated 20" head? Anybody know the reasoning behind it? Remo sells the Emp for bass drums all the time, I mean that was the Bonham sound, why did Evans decide people don't need a 2 ply coated bass head? Members boxofrocks
Yeah isn't that wierd that they dont... Stops at 18" no bigger.. Using EMAD right now, and G2 coated over G1 clear on toms. I check every site I could think of, and had my guy I go to call and ask them, they can get an EQ3 two ply with that hazy coating stuff on it but no 2 ply white. This is as close as I could find but it's for marching...

Yeah I am using EMAD reso. It does sound good but not what I want for the project I'm working on.
Members cearleywine
Also, powerstroke 4's come in two ply and coated. Only difference would be the plastic ring added for lows.

Members sirskatealot066
the marching one you were looking at is a smooth white i believe, not coated. you may have to go with the emperor. i prefer evans heads as well but they need to get rid of that frosting {censored}.
