Ok just reversed buttons. Now left click produces the menus again, right click does nothing. So maybe the button is out?

Taking off for now. Feel free to comment. Thx.

had my mighty mouse down-scroll crap out the other night. looked-up how to dismantle and clean the bugger. sheesh. you might as well be a surgeon. i have a back-up, but i loose some functionality. can't split screens now, that's a bummer. starting to really hate apple. well, mac peripherals, anyway. too expensive. they look all space-age and clean, but they don't last.

Try just replugging it. If that doesn't work under control panel go to mouse properties. There should be a box to switch the buttons.

Got that. already. It's the right button so far. Sticks a little. The big deal is my firewall shuts down automatically and without the right button I cant get the menu to unlock it. Barrel 'O' Laff.

Tim, Kmart, buying spare pronto. Looking for good rock as well.

Got a Logitech M100 cheapo at WalMart. It's way sensitive right now. I think the new optics are high res compared to the Intelli it replaced. The wheel is noisy too. O well. Right click works like military grade though. lol

anyone ever use a track ball? i thought of getting one just due to the ease of removal and maintain. i used a pad for a while and loved that, but it didn't work with my mac.
