Members 1001gear
Gave a quick listen, cool rhythm as far as I can tell. You proggers should dig it. Members 1001gear
Yeah not after you my flenn. The rhythms are complex but reliably stable. Good ear training even if the music dunt move you. Definitely of the not ready for prime time killer B variety but there are moments and stuff you may not have imagined or heard otherwise. Members Buckin Fastard
Oh, the irony. I don't like contemp prog because it vacillates between down-tuned, bummy psuedo-blues melody wannabe rock and overly thought out pretensious math guitarsturbation. It ain't organic. This group in particular falls into the glossy, polished, obnoxious sound that you hold so high. As far as I'm concerned, when Yes stepped away from it's roots I was done with prog rock. It got corporate. I don't have much affinity for it. I would, however be open to being exposed to more...if you have some other examples to suggest. Members Kabaalk
Thanks for the free tunes. I dig it. But there's kind of a point... this style is well-established now. Can we stop calling it progressive yet?
Members pljones
Best is stuff like Big Big Train and Wolf People - deliberately sounding like 70s prog, yet still prog... Hm. Good music, rubbish genre title. Then, it always was.

Members 1001gear
The tunes lack in many ways but like I said, cool rhythms. Like this tune; http://tetrafusion.bandcamp.com/track/cloudless. Brufordish in a way.
Members Buckin Fastard
Sorry, dude. Pretentious felter-carb to me. Not organic in the least. S'not that I don't appreciate nor have an ear for musical complexities, s'just that when it gets all sterile and mathematical like that it no longer has any feeling. Members 1001gear
If I want the works I listen to symphonies. Think of it as a method example. Besides, precision has a vibe. ANd there's slightly more than your average pentatoney rock going on harmonically.
