  • Are We Dead Yet?

Is this forum leaking like a sieve? Is anybody here?

    Oh...anybody from Tulsa?
    The Southpaw is rising again!
I finally made it into the Flaming Pedals of Doom. That was the longest and toughest audition I ever had to endure!
Yep...Still the Director of the Geezer Guild for 2013...and counting

We lost the forum back when HC made their big "upgrade." It's a shame the most exciting this forum's been since then is when MXdrummer let his red neck show.

Things ebb and flow, I've noticed. There are stretches with not much going on, then we'll all start talking drums again. I suppose it's the natural way of things.

I split my time between here, the Roddy Forums, and the Kollias Forums.

Put all 3 together, and its still not as lively as HC was a few years ago.

Also, I spent my childhood in Arkansas City, KS. Thats about an hour north of Tulsa if I remember.

Now it seems 65% of the HC drummers are from either Texas or Oregon.

I'm still here, and I've never been to Tulsa that I know of. I may have driven through, or near there when my family moved to Ca from Md, but I was 5 so I don't remember much about that trip. I think I've repressed that long drive.

                        What's a Tulsa?

Good playing can hide a crappy drumset, but even the best drumset can't hide crappy playing.

Have no fear of perfection. You'll never reach it.- Salvador Dali

Some of the best players that I know really can't play the drums well, but they play music superlatively well. - Jim Chapin

I am FAR from Tulsa. Never been there either. Yes my species is literate.
