Members boxofrocks
I'm looking for ideas, Instead of sitting it on milk crates, I want to mount my laptop next to the module to control Superior drummer, while at the kit, and to hit record and all that stuff, looking for a mount, or something for the laptop... I'm looking around the net, but what have y'all seen out there for such a thing?
Members the DW
How about one of these? just keep it low, and turn the 'blade' flat to put your laptop on.
Members race81
this is what I made........not fancy, but stable for gigs. I have setlists/lyrics/and few sound bytes on there we are working in as kicking off songs. Last week I mounted my IEM monitor amp to the side of it. Its all close but out of the way. Members danrothmusic
If you don't have the resources to build one yourself, I'd say go with a percussion table or a solid music stand

Members 1001gear
You can lay it on a drum machine thing on your rack.
Members Enigmatic
If space isn't an issue, you can try this laptop stand from amazon. It's cheap, looks nice and you can move it around easily without tripping over the cables. It's not as sturdy as the mixer stand, but will get the job done. The drawback of the mixer stand is every connection port has be in the rear of the laptop. The side USB plugs aren't accesible easily. It's a trade off.
