Never considered the scheduling and logistics of even a small tour. Are you flying in and then driving cross country?

I'm flying into SD for 2-3 days of rehearsals (going in compleatly blind on this one too... NO music to prepare ahead with...)

We traval to Chicago on Wednesday for Thursday's kick-off gig.

After the 10th we make our way down until we hit Baton Rouge, week of recording there, then back up North. Dates are still being booked to fill in the trip down and back up. Then I fly home.

The biggest nightmare has been gear. Fly dates are never the same twice. Sometimes I have to pack a whole bag of just drum gear, other times I don't need anything but sticks.

For this tour I have heads and sticks being shipped to SD for rehearsals. Yamaha's sending a kick & hardware to Chicago, and I'm bringing my cymbals on the plane.
