Just bought a Hercules Deejay trim 4 & 6

If I use an all powered speaker system is there any real reason I need to use another mixer?  This unit has headphone and mic inputs and volume controls.  Using virtual DJ and trying to keep everything simple.  I do have some mixers a mackie 1202 and Carvin12 channel but cant really find a good reason to hook them up since this has +4dbu 1/4 inch outputs on the Hercules.  Normally I would have a channel for the sub but since it will be near me i can just reach down to adjust the volume if required.
