Members diyguitarguy
*Also posted in the guitar and amp forums* I have recently been interested in buying a bass to try and mix it up a bit. What I was wondering was if it would be possible to use my guitar amps for the bass? Would there be a problem with the frequency response not being deep enough? (Just to be clear I'm thinking 4-string J-bass with passive pickups) Thanks a lot!
Members james on bass
Bass into a guitar amp head will be fine, but not a combo. You will need a bass cabinet or you will blow the speakers at anything above bedroom practicing volume.
