I've actually only ever eaten around 5 fish that I've caught here in Michigan. I don't count Alaska, though. The year I went we caught 45,000 pounds of Sockeye which is a horrible season. I ate one every day, because it was cheaper to eat a fish rather than buy canned beef stew. I guess killing 45,000 pounds of salmon negates any fish I've let go.
