  • Peavey TNT 130 Bass Amp...how much is it worth?

Somebody on craigslist is asking $375 for it. It has a EV speaker installed in it. Too much?

Depends. Is it a newer one or an older one? I doubt I'd go that high for a used combo though.

There's one on ebaY for $350 and it comes WITH a bass. If I recall, those retailed new for about $400 (in the early 1980s). So...to answer your question, "Too much?": for me, "Yes".

That should have a Peavey 15" Black widow speaker installed. They were, in the day, one hell of a woofer. Clearly it either was replaced by design, or because of damage. No way I'd go that high.

Didn't think so. I turned down his offer. Sombody is now offering an Ampeg BA210 SP for $400 now. I'm considering it.

Way way too much! I bought a TNT130 back in the 80's. Some came with Black Widows and some didn't. I sold mine (non BW version), in real good condition, for $125 a couple years ago. $375 can get you a brand new GK combo amp! More power and weighs much less. The old TNT's all weighed almost 80lbs!
