Upgraded To Another Fretless

I liked my $9 fretless bass so much, I decided to

upgrade.

 

I bought a Washburn T12 off CL for $60. It had

a wide Ibenez type neck. I de-fretted it and I

took it down in size like I did on my other bass.

The neck is a tad smaller than a jazz neck now.

 

Here's my new fretless on a budget,

That looks great! I have considered defretting a bass too. What did u fill the fret grooves with?

One could always use binding material. Works a treat.

Nice basses, those Washburns, I've played them. Feel, balance, sound okay. And looks like you did a nice job on the neckwork.

 

But, to me, the design is too much of a rip-off of Jerzy Drozd's designs. And owning 2 JD's, having compared, I think I feel confident in saying that.
