when im trying to play through my svt3 pro, the volume output fades out... ill play a minute or two before it begins and it comes and goes, meaning it could be fully faded one second and i crank the master and play for a second but then the fade goes away and i blow my gat dang ear drums up! I re-tubed all 3 pre amp tubes as well as both power amp tubes and that did not fix the issue. I was also thinking that it could be an in/out jack, or the power supply might be {censored}ting the bed, which i believe would be a costly repair... does anyone here have info advice as to what the issue might be? has anyone here experienced the issue im having with mine before?

I'm certainly no expert on these amps, but IIRC the mosfets have to be rebiased periodically... If you've already ruled out a tube problem, I'd say it's time to see some shop time...

i spoke to an ampeg specialist today and i think im going to drop it off to him on friday. the thing is is that im actually going to be selling it soon, so depending on what the part(s)/labor costs will determine whether or not i fix it to sell it or if i sell it as is, I was just hoping that in the meantime, perhaps someone on here could identify, or even point me in the right direction of what the issue might be so i could fix it myself. Once i become more in the know of whats going on and the costs ill courtesy post here in case your curiosity winds up getting the best of you! And again, in the meantime (2 days or so) if anyone stumbles upon this and has a little more insight, please let me know what you think.
