Members Mark L
Hello gentlemen and ladiesI write pop/rock songs (https://soundcloud.com/songwriter101) and I'll be needing an amp to play them live. I'll be on bass. I already have a Sandberg bass which I really like and which has been set up perfectly for meI'd prefer a combo as I don't want too much stuff to lug around. Hopefully be playing pubs and small clubsAny tips as to makes and wattages? Budget is around

Members RoadRanger
I have a bunch of combo amps - consider something more portable and scaleable than a combo. I do like my Ampeg Micro VR with two of the SVT210AV cabs. Other heads work well with those too - the Ampeg PF350, GK MB200 or MB500. GB is going away but there are still Shuttle 6.2 heads available. Plenty of lightweight cabs from both GK and GB available. I have two of the 34 lb GK 212MBE's but mostly use them as subs - one of those in 4 ohms can put out a LOT of bass.
