I bought a 5-string several months ago, and in the music store THE ONLY set of strings they had for 5 string basses was super slinky(?). I had never tried them before so I figured why the hell not (at the time that I bought them). Now, I'm definitely NOT feeling them. So I'm about ready to go try another set of strings.
